Shanghai transportation By Airport: Pudong International Airport (PVG) is the new international airport, it handles 60% of flights including most flights from all over the world, PVG is situated in the east of Shanghai, about 30 kilometers (19 miles) away from the city center and 40 kilometers (25 miles) from SHA. Hongqiao International Airport (SHA) is located in the west of Shanghai, 15 km from the city center. Transfer from the two airports is very easy since there are so many airport buses, taxi can take you to the destination. Also, you can try Maglev in PVG, it is the fastest way for you to reach your destination. As one of the main Chinese airline hubs, Shanghai has opened connection with nearly two hundred cities, half domestic ones and half international and regional ones.
